Indian Independence Day has been observed as Black Day in Government College Women University Faisalabad. In this connection a protest rally was organized to pursue the United Nations to pressurize India to fulfil Kashmiri’s demand of plebiscite. Participants raised slogans against Indian moves in Kashmir. Mr. Latif Nazar MPA, Mr Shakeel Shahid MPA, Mrs Farzana Hashmi Coordinator Arts and Social Sciences, Mrs Shehla Qasim Director Quality Enhancement Cell, Mr. Iftikhar Director ORIC, Mrs Asma Aziz Director Students Affairs, faculty members and many students participated in the rally. The participants condemned Indian atrocities in Kashmir and declared that India cannot hide its evil face behind its so called democratic facade and the Indian intervention in Kashmir is going to meet its consequences very soon. Day will not be far off when Kashmiri people will also be enjoying freedom. MPA Latif Nazar and Shakil Shahid explained that observance of Black Day has conveyed a strong message to the whole world that we as nation are standing side by side with our Kashmiri brethren and we strongly condemn Indian transgressions in Kashmir. They forecast that the Indian action of waiving of article 370 and 35A and changing the Kashmir status will strengthen the freedom movement in Kashmir and soon Kashmir will be a part of Pakistan.
