Introduction

Career Counselling Centers (CCCs) is a project of Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) which aims to contribute in minimizing the level of pauperization and unemployment of the society. The Directorate of Career Counselling Government College Women University Faisalabad has been established to provide career counselling services to students by assisting them in choosing and evaluating various career opportunities and making the right choice to match their needs. The goal of Directorate of Career Counseling is to not only help students make the decisions they need to make now, but to give them the knowledge and skills they need to make future career and life decisions.

The main objectives of this office are, to strengthen the interpersonal skills of graduating students, personalized mentoring on setting and maintaining career goals, gaining self and industry awareness and lesioning to build career networks.

The Office focuses on personal grooming and professional growth & development of all the students by providing necessary guidance, exposure and trainings to develop career oriented approach, effective communication and presentation skills, entrepreneurial mind set, without any discrimination.

To strengthen and polish the hidden abilities of female youth of Pakistan that will help in achieving educational, career and professional goals and to cope with new challenges and demands across the globe.

To surge the employment and career opportunities for our graduates, develop long-lasting and concrete linkages between academia and industry to support potential employees and the employers.

  • To provide a joint forum for female students and potential employees for building industry/academia nexus where they can discuss issues pertaining to employment opportunities and job related issues
