Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq’s tireless efforts bear fruit on confirmation of HEC grant of Rs. 1.26 Billion for the construction of new campus of GCWUF, today. It is a milestone towards worthy Vice Chancellor’s vision of broadening the socio-economic spectrum of Faisalabad.
Under this project, academic block, admin block, and girls hostel will be constructed in the new campus. Along with this, scientific lab equipments for STEM Education & Research got approved. GCWUF aims to develop its infrastructure, research culture, and quality education for empowerment of women of Faisalabad. Successful inception of this project will ensure a larger scale healthy change in the socio-economic culture of the city. Furthermore the proposed development plan of the new campus will focus on massive tree plantation of millions of trees under prime minister’s clean and green movement of Pakistan. It will prove to be a stepping stone towards addressing international issues such as ‘climate change’ and ‘sustainability’.
