Two-Day International Symposium on “Contemporary Trends in Language and Literature” was organized by the department of English on 25th and 26th of November, 2021. Renowned international speakers from around the world participated and shared their thoughts on the Contemporary Trends in Language and Literature on the second day of the event as well. The Aim of the symposium was to facilitate students with exposure of contemporary issues in the field of language and literature. This symposium helped participants to grab thoughtful information in a single setting with renowned scholar from around the globe. The themes covered by the speakers included Digital Humanities and Focus of Linguistics, Importance of Translation in 21st century, Qualitative and Quantitative research method, War of 1971 – Sakoot-e-Dhaka, Historiography, Pakistan Fiction in 21st century, Feminism and postcolonialism, New-Diaspora, and Orientation to Neo-orientation.
