Kashmir Day, 5th February

Kashmir Day, 5th February The message of the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq Today, we observe Kashmir Solidarity Day to endorse our undaunted support for our Kashmiri brothers and sisters who are bearing atrocities of Indian troops since long. India’s unilateral illegal actions of the military siege and communication blackout in Kashmir have exposed the Indian designs to deprive Kashmiri people of their right of self-determinism. More than 5000 innocent Kashmiris have been martyred since 5th August 2019 in fake encounters and search operations. We as Pakistanis reject India’s travesty of law and justice and urge the international community, human rights and humanitarian organizations, and the international media to play its role in exposing the state-terrorism and ensure a free and impartial plebiscite. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our Kashmiri people in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir with full moral, political and diplomatic support until they get their legitimate right of self-determination in accordance with the United Nations Charter and the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions.
