Plantation Drive GCWUF, 2021 Under the directions of Prime Minister’s office, issued to Chief Secretary (Task ID: 662) dated March 12, 2021, Department of Botany in collaboration with Estate office, GC Women University Faisalabad conducted in-campus plantation drive, 2021 on Wednesday March 24, 2021. Bureau Chief of Daily Pakistan Mr. Munir Imran and Director Advanced Studies Dr. Zill-e-Huma Nazli planted Bottel palm, Jamun, Golden shower, Neem and Bakain tress in the university premises. Rana Rashid Sb. from Daily Pakistan, Incharge Media Cell Ms. Amara Javed, Incharge Department of Botany Dr. Abida Kousar, Incharge Estate Office Mr. Irfan Ali Mujahid and many students of the department of Botany were present on the occasion. Later the guests had a meeting with the worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq. The Vice Chancellor briefed the guests about major achievements of the university in various academic and administrative fields.
