Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq, Vice Chancellor GCWUF, was Patron in Chief and Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Chairperson Department of Chemistry, was convener of this webinar. Dr Abida Kousar, Dr Farhat Jubeen, Dr Sadia Nazir, Dr. Huma Munir and Dr. Nusrat Shafiq were the organizing committee for this webinar. The event started with the recitation of a few verses from Holy Quran followed by welcome remarks and word of wisdom by Dr Zill I Huma Nazli. Prof. Dr Muhammad Najam-ul-Haq Director ORIC, Chairman Plagiarism standing committee and Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, delivered his excellent talk on “Outcome Based Research Towards Innovation, Industrialization, Commercialization and Patent Filingʺ deliberately covering and explaining all aspects and domains to Community problems solving based effective research leading to patent filing, rules, certification and detailed procedure of patent filing followed by interesting questions from participants. The second speaker of webinar was Mr. Vishal Gupta, Consultant South-Asia responsible of Scopus, ScienceDirect, Mendeley, Strategic Thinker , Customer analyst, Employer Brand Ambassador, South Delhi, Delhi, India, delivered his valuable talk on ” Sharp Ways To Plan Research Using Elsevier Tools, Scopus, Science Direct & Mendeley ʺ explaining all the tools, details, their associated benefits, possible uses enabling participants to do smart research and data management using the right tools and tricks. At the end of his talk, Worthy, Dr Zill I Huma Nazli thanked Prof. Dr Muhammad Najam-ul-Haq and Mr Vishal Gupta for their valuable talks and dedication to work. Participants from all over universities of Pakistan participated as during period of covid it was a valuable intellectual activity under umbrella of Department of Chemistry, GCWUF.
